Base Pay Scale
Company Drivers Savannah Traders LLC offers one of the best pay packages in the truckload industry.
We are currently hiring for Local (Kansas or Missouri), Only Drivers, Regional and OTR.
Pay package depends on your experience and which position you apply for.
We are also expanding our Owner Operator and Lease Purchase fleet

Owner Operator Application

Base Pay Scale
Owner/Operator Drivers 42¢ per loaded and empty mile with two (2) years verifiable OTR experience.

Owner Operator Qualifications
-Minimum age – 25 years
-Valid commercial license with proper endorsements in the state of residence
-No current suspension or revocation
-Work permit is not acceptable
-A minimum of two (2) years verifiable over the road experience
-No serious or disqualifying traffic violations within the last three (3) years
** Excessive speeding, 15 mph over the posted speed limit
** Reckless driving
** Improper or erratic lane changes
** Following too close
** Hit and run
-No more than four (4) moving violations in the past three (3) years AND
-No more than two (2) moving violations in the past twelve (12) months
-No preventable DOT reportable accidents within the past three (3) years
-No convictions for DWI for the past five (5) years
-No positive results for a controlled substance
-No convictions for use, sale, or possession of any controlled substance
Driver Friendly Program
Passenger Policy: DOT regulations require that any individual who is not a qualified driver for the carrier, have authorization from the carrier to ride in a commercial motor vehicle.
* Diver must purchase, through the company, passenger liability insurance for a non-refundable cost of $110 per year. Each passenger is required to have an independent policy in their name.
* Children over the age of thirteen (13) may have authorization to ride for two weeks during Summer vacation. No individual under the age of eighteen (18) will be a full time passenger (except spouses) on any equipment owned or leased by American National Logistics, Inc.
* Passengers will not be allowed to perform any work for the carrier, including: paperwork, loading, unloading, fueling, inspecting equipment or repair to equipment, or driving.
* A rider’s pass must be obtained from a company safety representative before the passenger may be on the truck.
* Transporting an unauthorized passenger will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Home Time Policy: We believe it is important to get you home frequently. Drivers will be entitled to one day off for every seven days out on the road. Non-vacation, home time, will generally be limited to a maximum of four consecutive days.
Stop-Off Pay: If your load requires multiple stops in addition to the original pick up and final delivery, you will receive stop pay of $30 per stop.
Layover Compensation: Subject to approval by Operations Management, if a layover is an operational issue other than freight availability, you will earn layover pay for each 24 hour period. If the layover is due to breakdown and you have timely notified the Operations Department, and depending on the expected duration of the layover, a motel room may be authorized.
Orientation: As part of the employment process, all applicants cleared for hire by Savannah Traders LLC. will be required to attend a one day orientation at the OP, KS facility.
24-hour Road Service: In the event you encounter maintenance related issues with your tractor or trailer, we provide road service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
E-ZPass: The company utilizes the E-ZPass transponder for ease in paying tolls in those locations where E-ZPass is authorized.
